Acoustic guitarist Luca Stricagnoli to perform in Kent on October 22

Luca Stricagnoli performs as part of the Kent Spotlight Series at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 22 at the Kent-Meridian Performing Arts Center, 10020 SE 256th St.

Stricagnoli, born and raised in Italy, is an acoustic guitarist known for his unique style and innovative playing techniques, according to the Kent Arts Commission. His original approach to music has garnered over 100 million views on his music videos and has taken him to perform in venues around the world.

Using up to five guitars in one room, modified capos, and self-designed ploys, Stricagnoli continually leaves his audience in awe and wondering what the next step is for the aspiring guitarist. In addition to his musical abilities, he brings an enthusiastic energy to the stage. His music has been featured in countless magazines and TV channels and has caught the attention of world famous artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Walk Off The Earth.

Stricagnoli has been a Spotlight Series audience favorite twice as part of the popular International Guitar Night shows. This will be his first solo concert in Kent.
