Elvis Blue and the Sweet Dreamers Marimba Band rock the Lowveld at Gaan Bos inniMall

Gaan Bos inniMall’s final day saw the Lowvelders coming in droves to enjoy the latest performances and shows the event had to offer. Elvis Blue, who rose to fame in 2010 after winning Idols SA, performed to an enthusiastic audience outside the entertainment entrance of i’langa mall at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 25.

With his guitar in hand, Blue greeted the enthusiastic audience before singing several songs, originals and covers. Between sets, the musician engaged with his crowd, telling stories about his life growing up and thanking everyone in the audience who voted for him in the 2010 Idols SA final.

Her performance drew cameras and cellphones as the crowd attempted to capture Blue’s lively performance.

The next gig was the electric group Sweet Dreamers Marimba. The group, made up of both young people and adults, wowed the crowd outside the entrance to the i’langa shopping center with their catchy music on Saturday afternoon.

The band members play electric drums, electric guitar, bass, saxophone and, of course, marimba. The band even dedicated a song to Mpumalanga, thanking Gaan Bos inniMall for the opportunity to perform, as well as their enthusiastic audience, who seemed unable to tire of their music.
