Gov’t Mule lead singer Warren Haynes’ fractured shoulder blade forces postponement of Spring 2022 tour

Renowned quartet GOVERNMENT MULE – directed by Grammy Award-singer, songwriter, guitar legend and award-winning producer Warren Haynes – was forced to postpone his previously announced Spring 2022 US tour after Haynes fractured his shoulder blade while vacationing in Costa Rica.

The month-long hike in favor of GOVERNMENT MULEthe critically acclaimed, chart-topping blues album “Heavy Loaded Blues” was scheduled to begin April 6 in Syracuse, New York and end April 30 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Earlier today (Wednesday March 30), Haynes released the following statement via social media: “Hi everyone,

“While vacationing in Costa Rica with my family last weekend, I slipped on a wet surface and landed hard on my shoulder. Upon returning to the United States and seeing a specialist, he was confirmed that I have fractured my shoulder blade. Unfortunately, this means that GOVERNMENT MULEThe spring tour of , which was to begin next Wednesday, must be postponed.
