Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb will take the stage at Cork Opera House

Lisa Loeb has been announced as the opening act for Belinda Carlisle at Cork Opera House on July 15.

Dallas native Lisa Loeb is a GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter, touring musician and philanthropist who began her career with the platinum hit song “Stay (I Missed You)” from the movie Reality Bites.

A pioneering independent artist, Lisa was the first pop musician to have a number 1 single without signing a recording contract.

She followed that remarkable feat with several hit singles and six albums, two of which were certified gold, and recently released her 15th album, A Simple Trick To Happiness, to rave reviews from critics and fans alike.

She followed the album’s release with the debut of her new musical, Together Apart, which she co-wrote and co-produced with more than 100 of her fellow Brown University alumni to raise money for The Actors. fund.
