Johnny Depp collaborates with guitarist Jeff Beck for a new album
Popular American actor Johnny Depp, who won the libel legal battle against his ex-wife Amber Heard on Wednesday, returned to action, collaborating with guitar legend Jeff Beck on a musical twist for his upcoming career change.
According to Deadline, Jeff had revealed that he and his best friend Johnny would be releasing an album together the following month. Previously, Depp and Jeff collaborated on a cover of John Lenon’s song “Isolation.”
Just one night after making a surprise appearance on the Jeff Beck Show, Hollywood star Johnny Depp has once again joined the guitar legend on stage, this time at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall.
Speaking to the crowd, Jeff, mentioning Johnny, said: “I met this guy five years ago and we’ve never stopped laughing since. We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be released in July.
“The duo were also spotted in a Newcastle pub after Johnny won. Musician Sam Fender also joined them, Deadline reported. On Wednesday, Johnny won a high-profile libel case between him and his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
The jury awarded Johnny Depp $15 million in damages. Amber Heard also won part of her libel case against Johnny Depp over articles in a private newspaper, in which Johnny Depp’s former lawyer described her domestic violence allegations as a hoax.

After several years of dating, Depp and Heard tied the knot in a very private ceremony at their Los Angeles home in 2015. On May 23, 2016, Heard filed for divorce from Depp and was granted a temporary restraining order against the Oscar-nominated actor. She alleged Depp physically assaulted her during their relationship and said it was usually under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
