Kingfish Announce Stacked Lineup For First Acts Of Spring Tour
Christone “Kingfish” Ingram just announced four special guests as the opening act for his 662 Juke Joint Live Tour, which is slated to kick off in March. Rissi Palmer, Maggie Rose, Camille Parker and Brittney Spencer will join Kingfish for various legs of the tour.
Palmer will launch 662 Juke Joint Live, performing with Kingfish on the first-ever show on March 2 and on various dates through April 1. .
“I can’t even begin to describe how excited and grateful I am to be on the road with Christone,” she said. “Kingfish’s level of musicianship is at an all-time high and my band and I can’t wait to bring this live experience directly to people.”
Touring from late March to late April, singer-songwriter Maggie Rose effortlessly mixes rock ‘n’ roll, soul, folk, funk and R&B. The American songwriter named his compelling album sit down one of the best albums of 2021.
“I feel privileged to be invited to have such a great experience in these magnificent theaters and I know that together it will create a powerful and dynamic evening of music,” Rose said.
Although Camille Parker only plays three shows with Kingfish, the R&B/pop singer-songwriter is sure to bring a powerful performance every night. She expressed her excitement in an Instagram post, writing, “When @callmekingfish calls and says some of your favorite girls are joining him on the 662 Juke Joint Tour, you’re joining him on tour!”
Brittney Spencer echoed her sentiment in the comments, writing, “Oh fuck yes sis.”
Last, but certainly not least, is Spencer, who will be bringing the tour home with Kingfish for the final West Coast performances. The 2021 Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch is currently on her first-ever headlining tour, which will wrap up in February. After a three-month hiatus, she’ll be back on the road with Kingfish in May, and she can’t wait to continue performing live for fans.
Spencer took to Instagram to show her admiration for Kingfish, Palmer, Parker and Rose, writing, “a little blues, a little country, a fucking situation 🔥”
Kingfish himself is delighted to have four dynamic and powerful musicians joining him for 662 Juke Joint Live. “I’ve been listening to their music and following their success for a while now.
