Hello and welcome to our running series where we share with you our favorite new songs and music videos of the week.

Here we have new tracks from Andrew Bird, Korn, Ann Wilson, Tank and the Bangas, and many more.

So, without further ado, let’s dive into the new music.

1.Andrew Bird

The baroque singer-songwriter and master of the fiddle has released his latest whistling single, “Underlands.” The new single hints at a new album, Internal issueswhich is expected to decline later this year.


DIY pop artist SEB has released his latest single “SAVE ME”. The new track, which is woozy in the vein of early Kid Cudi tracks, is being released as a precursor to a new EP due later this year.

3. 3rd secret

The new grunge powerhouse in the Pacific Northwest is called 3rd Secret and the band includes Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic and Soundgarden’s Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron. The group has released their music video for their new single, “I Choose Me,” which you can check out in all its fuzzy glory.

4. The Neko Affair

The impeccable singer-songwriter Neko Case released a new career retrospective album on Friday April 22 entitled wild creatures. Along with him, Case shared the new single, “Oh, Shadowless,” which you can check out below. Case has a brilliant voice, which she showcases in the new single.

5. Odesza

Staying in the Pacific Northwest, electronic band Odesza shared a new single this week. This song, “Better Now,” features the moody yet delightful sound that has made the band a household name among music fans.


Earlier this week, Wilco announced a big 20th anniversary reissue of the band’s 2002 album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which will include 82 previously unreleased tracks. To celebrate the news, the band released a live recording of their hit song “Reservations.”

7. Tank and the Bangas

With a new album slated for May, Tank and the Bangas released their latest single earlier this week. This song, “Oak Tree,” is as much a rap hit as it is a psychedelic rock track. Check out lead singer Tank spit with hot fire in the track below.

8. Anne Wilson

The co-founder and lead singer of Heart released a new song this week. This track, “Love of My Life”, is a cover of a Queen song, which Wilson recorded with the help of artist Vince Gill. Check out the duo’s new track below – damn, their vocals are good! — and keep your eyes and ears peeled for more from Wilson sooner rather than later.

9. Florence + the machine

The big-voiced band released their latest single earlier this week. The new track, “Free”, features the heart-pounding, catchy and deep songwriting that the band’s fans love and have come to expect from the band. Check out the new track below and get ready to hear more from the band soon.

10. Sean Paul

Legendary reggae singer-songwriter Sean Paul released his new single, “No Fear,” earlier this week ahead of the release of his next album later this spring. Check out the hip-shaking, head-shaking new song below and just try not to smile with musical glee. What a distinct voice!

11. Moonalice

Always-positive jam and blues band from San Francisco, Moonalice, have released their latest single and accompanying music video for the song “Turn On Your Love Light,” which you can check out in full harmony below. and his happiness. It’s a joy, really.

12. Anna-Sophie

The rising, deep-voiced pop star dropped her latest track earlier this week. The new song, “Cruel World,” comes with a jarring music video that distorts as much as it entertains. For those who love the beautiful-darkness dichotomy the world offers every moment of every day, then this is your piece!

13. Jean Charpentier

King of Horror John Carpenter has released his latest single “Firestarter End Titles”, which he wrote with his longtime musical collaborators: his son Cody Carpenter and friend Daniel Davies (son of Kinks guitarist Dave Davis). Check out the lively and tense new song below, which is part of a new soundtrack for a spooky new Peacock movie.

14. Amyl and the Sniffers

Australian band Amyl and the Sniffers performed on Late Night with Seth Meyers earlier this week and offered a rendition of their song “Hertz.” The song has already propelled them to the forefront of many taste-making conversations (much like British band Wet Leg, recently). 15. Thao

One of our favorite songwriters, performers and creative minds, Thao, released his new single earlier this week. The new track, “Ambition,” features Thao’s signature quivering voice and penchant for philosophy. It’s hard to challenge and delight at the same time, yet Thao never ceases to be capable of it.

16. Korn

The devastating rockers released their new single this week, “Worst Is On Its Way.” The new song, which shakes your ventricles as much as your eardrums, is on the band’s upcoming new album, Requiem.

17. High ZZ

The legendary rockers have a new live album planned for this year and the band have released their latest cut from the record. This song, “La Grange”, is really great. It’s a blues song, famous and delicious. It’s the kind you want to hear when you’re revving your truck and taking on the world.

18. PJ Morton

Multiple Grammy winner PJ Morton has teamed up with a few people you might have heard of: Stevie Wonder and rapper Nas. The trio created a truly amazing song. The single “Be Like Water” isn’t just a bit of entertaining art, but it’s a way of life.

19. Kelis

Popular singer-turned-chef Kelis released her latest single this week. The song “Feed Them” is on the border between music and culinary expertise. And the video clip demonstrates the value of a balanced diet (and color palette). We love this one.

20. Pusha T

One of the biggest names in rap music released their latest album on Friday, April 22. The scrapbook, It’s almost drypresents the new song “Diet Coke”, which, as the young people say, slaps! Check out the new song below, then enjoy the masterful lyricist’s entire album.

21. Liam Gallagher

The former Oasis frontman has released his latest single, “Better Days,” ahead of his upcoming new solo album, C’mon You Know, which is due out May 27. The new rocker, who you can see below, brings the energy, packs a punch, and reminds us why Liam was (and is) such a star on the scene.

22. War Paint

The nuanced indie rock band have released their latest single, “Hips,” ahead of their upcoming new album, shine like this, which is slated for release on May 6. The song, which you can check out below, lingers and whispers, crawls, then runs in harmony. It’s thoughtful and inspiring.

23. Ani DiFranco

Today, Ani DiFranco’s debut album, Live in Clip, turned 25. And to celebrate the milestone, DiFranco plans to release a remastered 25th anniversary edition of the historic double album on July 29. Before that, she released the remastered version of her song “Napoleon.”

24. Zach Bryan

The country star dropped his latest heartfelt track, “Something In The Orange,” which you can check out below. An acoustic song backed by harmonica features Bryan’s deep and memorable vocals. Check out the video, which features stunning hand-held video footage.
