Singer-Songwriter Kairi Yagi Releases The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc Collaboration Movie

19 year old singer-songwriter Kairi Yagi posted a new music video for their debut song “Ripe Aster,” which served as the theme song to The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc. The 71-minute prequel episode, based on the eighth volume of Tsutomu Sato’s original The Irregular at Magic High School new series, premiered in Japan on December 31, 2021 and was also available on Crunchyroll.

Yagi was born on September 5, 2002 in Hiroshima Prefecture. At 15, she moved to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming a professional artist. After posting numerous performance videos on YouTube, she made her major debut on Sony Music’s Ki/oon Music label with “Ripe Aster.” The song was digitally published on December 18, 2021, and its CD single will be available on March 16, 2022.

The special collaboration film was filmed using Sony’s Warp Square 360° video space system. In addition to the three walls, images are also projected onto the bottom surface of the space, recreating the anime world The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc and make it look like Yagi is happening in the anime world.
