Songwriter Darren Senn on The Brother Dan Show which takes place at the Bank Saloon in Carson City | Carson City Nevada News

Event date:

May 16, 2022 – 4:30 p.m.

This week, Brother host Dan Palmer hosts singer/songwriter Darren Senn at the Bank Saloon in Carson City, for his weekly “The Brother Dan Show” livestream.

Born and raised in Oregon, Senn now resides in Lake Tahoe and performs at various venues in the region. Influenced by songwriters such as John Prine, Townes Van Zandt and Todd Snider, Darren is an engaging songwriter with simple, well-crafted songs.

Songwriting for over twenty years has led to honest songwriting, laced with wistful humor and keen insight. His latest release, “Nothing Comes From Nowhere”, is in the writer’s words “the happy and the sad, coming together”.

The Brother Dan Show airs from The Bank Saloon, located at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City. The show offers audiences the opportunity to get to know a wide variety of talented musical artists, as they improvise and make music together, often for the first time.

The music starts at 4:30 p.m. on Mondays (with free snacks from Mangia Tutto to accompany craft cocktails from the Bank Saloon), and the show is streamed live on Facebook from 5:00 p.m. on the host’s music page: Brother Dan Palmer

The bank offers a variety of mostly local music, including The Brother Dan Show on Mondays, as well as a selection of local musical acts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
