Taylor Swift’s album “Midnights” brings us all to tears, especially “Labyrinth” and its heartbreaking lyrics.

Taylor Swift released “Midnights” on October 21, the surprise album Swifties didn’t know was coming until two months before.

When her original 10th studio album was finally released, she also announced a “3AM Edition” featuring songs “from the vault”.

But while we focus on the dream List of “Midnights” tracks, there’s one song in particular with lyrics that hit really hard – ‘Labyrinth’, the song she referenced in her PhD speech in New York and none of us had any idea she was quoting a brand new song.

What is “Labyrinth” about?

In ‘Labyrinth’, Taylor sings about a time she fell in love quickly, but feared it would happen too quickly: ‘Oh, I’m falling in love / I thought the plane was crashing / How did- are you turning around? ?’

A maze is a winding path from an outer edge to the center, much like a maze. But it also symbolizes a predetermined destination.

In her song, Taylor sings about her fear of falling in love quickly, knowing the outcome of what might happen if she did — well, we’ve all heard songs like “All Too Well,” need we say more?

She also apparently sings about how she is expected to recover from heartbreak “just like that.”

What are the lyrics to ‘Labyrinth’?

It only hurts so much right now

It was what I always thought about

Inhale, breathe in, take a deep breath, exhale

I will forget you all my life

You know how scared I am of elevators

Never trust him if it goes up fast it can’t last

Oh oh, I’m falling in love

Oh no, I’m falling in love again

Oh, I’m falling in love, I thought the plane was crashing

How did you knock it down?

It only feels this gross right now

Lost in the maze of my mind

Break, release, pierce, shatter

You would break your back to make me smile

you know how much i hate

That everyone just expects me to bounce

Just like that

Oh oh, I’m falling in love

Oh no, I’m falling in love again

Oh, I fall in love

I thought the plane was going down

How did you knock it down?

Oh oh, I’m falling in love

Oh no, I’m falling in love again

Oh, I fall in love

I thought the plane was going down

How did you knock it down?

Uh oh, I’m falling in love (I’m falling in love)

Oh no, I’m falling in love again (falling in love again)

Oh, I’m falling in love (I’m falling in love)

I thought the plane was going down

How did you knock it down?

Uh oh, I’m falling in love (I’m falling in love)

Oh no, I’m falling in love again (falling in love again)

Oh, I’m falling in love (I’m falling in love)

I thought the plane was going down

How did you knock it down?

(You know how much I hate it)

(You know how much I hate it)

(You know how much I hate it)
