As part of his birthday celebration, Ajay who is gearing up for the release of Runway 34, in which he will star with Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh, has released the first song of the thriller drama. Mita Re is the name of the song, which features Ajay and Rakul.

When Arijit Singh and Jasleen Royal sing Mitra Re, they express the importance of never giving up in difficult times and never losing hope. The pilots (Ajay and Rakul) are rendered helpless when their plane encounters harsh conditions in the sky, which is the theme of the song. It also gives insight into how distraught and alone Rakul feels as the investigation into what happened on the plane continues.
