The feat of the interpreter comes shortly after the release of his new album, entitled Dawn FM.

The singer, born Abel Tesfaye, has confirmed he is working on a new record following the launch of his previous project, After Hours.

He later abandoned many of his initial endeavors, which were influenced by the depression he experienced during the pandemic, and began recording new music from scratch.

Dawn FM was produced by several people, including Oneohtrix Point Never and Max Martin, as well as The Weeknd himself.

The record draws primarily from music released in the 1980s for inspiration and takes the form of a fictional radio show.

Jim Carrey is the project’s narrator, and several other artists, including Tyler, The Creator, Lil Wayne and Bruce Johnston of the Beach Boys, make guest appearances on the record.

Dawn FM went public earlier this month to widespread critical acclaim.
