Tickets on sale Thursday for Rick Nielsen’s family group from Cheap Trick in Genesee

Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen’s next visit to the Genesee Theater Saturday 22 January is going to be a family affair.

The Nielsen Trust, which combines his legendary guitar talents with the talents of his sons Daxx (who has been playing drums with Nielsen and his bandmates since 2010) and Miles, as well as the wife of singer-songwriter from Miles, Kelly, will bring some of the Rockford guitarist’s favorites Cheap Trick to the Waukegan stage for an evening that will also feature a few premium covers and some of the band’s original songs.
