UR2.Global Names Composer, Pianist and Singer-songwriter – Yify Zhang, the 2022 Honorary Artist in Residence for the annual Global Artist Challenge

Tallahassee, Fla., March 21, 2022 — (PR.com) — UR2.Global names world-class composer, pianist, and singer-songwriter – Yify Zhang as 2022 Honorary Artist-in-Residence (HAR) for his Artist Challenge to raise the self-esteem of humanity. Singer-songwriters aged 21 and over are invited to participate and receive prizes.

“We are thrilled to have such a talented and passionate artist as this year’s honorary artist to commission her original instrumental song: ‘The Dance’ for the 2022 UR2.Global – Yify Zhang Artist Challenge for other artists use it to uplift humanity,” says Amelia Kemp, Ph.D., LMHC. – President of UR2.Global, a psycho-spiritual arts project of The Sacretherapy Institute – a volunteer-run 501-C3 non-profit organization, (pronounced sacred-therapy with a silent d).

Honorary Artist – Yify says, “It is my greatest honor to be part of the UR2.Global Arts project. I make music that reminds people that they are loved. My mission is to create soundscapes by that listeners can get lost in. Connecting people with their inner selves and others in their lives.” A goal and a message that she certainly spreads with her songs having been featured in playlists that have accumulated over a million streams in over 90 countries on streaming platforms. She has also been featured in Vents Magazine, Celeb Mix, The Drunken Coconut, Indie Guru, AVA Live Radio, York Calling, among other independent music publications.

The purpose of the annual Honorary Artist-in-Residence (HAR) is for HAR to help inspire other artists around the world to help UR2.Global uplift humanity through annual artist challenges with annual themes that raise consciousness and unity. With the onslaught of social discord and violence in the world, the theme of this year’s artists’ challenge is titled: “MOVE US” based on the metaphor that the artistic organization extracted from the title of the instrumental music by Yify, The Dance. Like a dance, Dr. Amelia Kemp says, “We curtsy and bow to life’s challenges, seeking harmony and peace while pivoting to keep our balance. Sometimes overcompensating or undercompensating by forgetting to hold our heads up high as the esteemed sacred sources of moving energy that we are, filled with loving light. So we can always choose to “move” in a new direction where we see ourselves as choreographers in the dance of life and all of humanity as partners. Then unity becomes the one thing that really “MOVEs” us – hence our theme. Thus, singer-songwriters are invited to create lyrics for Yify’s music that “move us” – as in: lyrics that advance the evolution of humanity.

With a global vision, UR2.Global presents artists from various cultures and ethnicities. “We hope artists will take this opportunity to join in solidarity with our Asian sisters and brothers to unite as a global society and end violence with respect to not only people of color but all people. peoples of the world,” says Lamarr Kemp, Sr., MBA – Vice President of UR2.Global.
